Established in 1969 by the Fanous family as International Aromatics selling herbs and essential oils into the Middle Eastern market. In 1989 flavors were introduced to the company by Halim Fanous. In 2004, International Aromatic acquired Mercia International Aromatics ,an established UK fragrance manufacturer and rebranded as Aromatic Flavors & Fragrances in 2012.
